Yes! Miracle Truss® Buildings are designed for the do-it-yourselfer. With our simple bolt-together design, our steel trusses are test fit and welded at our factory to ensure a perfect fit. Therefore, there is no welding to be done on the job site. Simply bolt your steel trusses together, slide the lumber right into prepositioned steel clips, and screw it into place.
Due to our unique combination of bolt-together steel trusses with two-foot on center edge-mounted wood secondary members, the Miracle Truss® system is the perfect option for standard finishing materials. If it’s a design element you are going for or a requirement from your city or local municipality, the Miracle Truss® system is adaptable to almost any exterior facade. We can help you with any combination, from supplying just the trusses to a completely steel-sheeted building to anything in between. Shingle roofs, tile, or standing seam roofs work great with our design, as does vinyl siding, wood, Hardie® board, brick, or even SIPS (structurally insulated panels) and almost any other type of siding you might consider. Yes. At Miracle Truss®, our options and capabilities are almost limitless. We strive to say “yes” to our clients as often as possible when custom options are needed to meet local codes or accomplish a specific design element. Custom roof pitches and “oddball” sidewall heights are just the tip-of-the-iceberg of possibilities that we are capable of helping you out with. While a concrete slab is always nice to work off of while you erect your new building, it is not necessary to erect our design. If you have the time and budget, pouring the slab first is always the easiest way. If your needs don’t include a whole slab or you just don’t have it in the budget, your Miracle Truss® Building can be erected and supported by simple concrete piers that the steel truss legs bolt to with just a gravel or dirt floor. If you plan to pour a slab in the future, a slab can then be poured at any time as your time or budget allows. We will supply column placement plans to help you align where the piers must go.
No! Miracle Truss® is directly partnered with its factory. Every Miracle Truss® building is manufactured to our own design and specifications (we do not buy and resell someone else’s product). We warranty our products directly as such, including our industry’s best Lifetime Frame Warranty, and are backed by 40+ years of structural manufacturing and design. Buy with confidence. No, our trusses are made of steel and sit on steel legs (columns) that simply bolt to the top of a concrete pier. We do incorporate wood into the design, as our buildings utilize wood for the secondary members that go from steel truss to steel truss. Our clients tell us that we are the best of both worlds – steel for strength and wood for flexibility! Plus, with our Lifetime Steel Frame Warranty, you’ll never have to worry about wood posts rotting in the ground.
The 3D designer is, by nature, limited by its programming “like most programs” and does not show the full potential of our capabilities. We always say “If you can draw it, we can likely build it!” So, if you see a limitation or something “missing” from the 3D designer of what you are trying to achieve, please let our team know, and we can implement it.
Yes. Our knowledgeable and experienced building consultants can walk you through and troubleshoot any portion of your build you may have a question about to provide a smooth and fun build.
Our edge-mounted purlins and girts on 24″ centers offer a much stronger solution than a flat girt and purlin spaced on 48″ (or even 60″ spacing like some). Adding to that, our clips that hold the wood have a wrap-around design. Think of a c-clip that gives additional support and helps keep boards from twisting to ensure a gorgeous and solid build-out.
We can match any roofline as accurately as the information we’re presented. Almost any roof pitch, style, and dimension is possible. Let us know the dimensions you need and we will do the rest.
We’re very proudly manufactured stateside with high-quality American steel, employing a large team of hard-working engineers, skilled CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) certified welders, and fabricators. CWB certification is considered a higher standard by most, so we encourage you to do your research.
If you can dream it, we can likely engineer, fabricate and ship it. More specifically, if you can draw it – it’s likely that we can build it. Let us know what you have in mind!
Much of our design uses standardized building practices, so while we can supply many items such as trim, doors, or spare sheet metal, most of these items can easily be sourced locally as well. However, If you need parts, we are happy to help.
Miracle Truss® Buildings are designed for the DIY (Do-it-Yourselfer), so not only can you or unskilled labor likely put up our steel building kit, but it is also easily understandable to any open-minded local contractor willing to work with you and your build choice selection.
We understand that sometimes people seem to be expecting a set number of width/length option packages, especially ones having previously worked with a broker who might have specific limitations based on their supplier. We can however supply a steel building hybrid web truss building that meets you, your properties, and local design needs. This helps you get exactly what you need and nothing that you don’t. Simply put, we can build just about anything that you request.
Most often, no. It generally costs more. To give you some insight – here is why: You are asking one beam to carry the entire roof load (which would normally be handled in 2 parts by 2 roof trusses) since the roof beam spans the entire width of the structure. This single beam must be larger than two separate beams would be, thus increasing the amount of steel required compared to a standard two-part roof. Also, consider the offset weight load, since weight on the roof (maintenance loads, snow, ice, even heavy rainfall) can push forces in one direction. Ultimately, Miracle Truss® will happily help you design anything you have your heart set on and we manufacture single slopes all the time. Just don’t expect them to be cheaper.
The short answer is; “no, we don’t directly, but most people who purchase our buildings are using some form of financing so our process works hand-in-hand with our clients needs”.
Here are some choices to consider for well known lending solutions as you do your own research*:
Residential/Home — construction-to-perm, FHA, USDA, VA, conventional, etc.
Business/Commercial — SBA 7(a), 504, commercial construction lending, etc.
Farm/Ag — USDA/FSA/Farm Credit-type resources, etc.
